Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy explains how Joy One collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal data when you use Jomo, including the web app and connected system bots on Telegram, Zalo, or Messenger.

Jomo processes personal data to provide a personal finance assistant and related account, messaging, AI, analytics, support, and security features.

2. Information we collect

Account and authentication data: name, email address, password credentials, verification status, access tokens, device identifiers, language settings, and workspace identifiers needed to create and secure your account.

Financial records: income, spending, receipts, amounts, dates, notes, tags, categories, payment status, analytics, and corrections you create or approve in Jomo.

Conversation and assistant data: messages, prompts, assistant responses, pending questions, confirmations, tool results, uploaded files, receipt images, audio recordings, voice transcripts, and related AI input and output logs.

Connected platform data: platform channel, thread identifiers, sender identifiers, display names, avatars, message delivery metadata, and attachment references needed to connect Telegram, Zalo, or Messenger conversations to Jomo.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, locale, app events, error logs, security logs, approximate timestamps, and feature usage needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, type messages, upload images, record voice input, edit transactions, manage tags, connect a bot, or contact support.

We collect information automatically from your device, browser, app session, and interactions with Jomo to maintain security, remember preferences, provide analytics, and troubleshoot issues.

We receive information from connected third-party platforms when you choose to interact with Jomo through Telegram, Zalo, or Messenger.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, connect Jomo to your chats, record and organize your income and spending, generate analytics, answer your requests, and provide support.

We use messages, receipt images, audio, transcripts, and transaction context to extract amounts, dates, categories, notes, and other details through AI, OCR, speech-to-text, and related automation.

We use technical and usage data to protect accounts, prevent abuse, detect fraud or security incidents, debug errors, maintain service reliability, and improve Jomo quality.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal financial records for advertising. Service improvement use is internal to operating, securing, debugging, analyzing, and improving Jomo.

5. AI processing and automated output

Jomo may send relevant messages, images, audio-derived transcripts, transaction context, and assistant history to AI, OCR, speech-to-text, and routing providers so the Service can interpret your requests and create useful responses.

AI input and output logs may be stored to operate, audit, debug, secure, measure cost, and improve Jomo quality. Access to these logs is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.

Automated output can be wrong. You remain responsible for reviewing and correcting transactions, categories, analytics, and assistant responses before relying on them.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Jomo; comply with law; protect users, platforms, providers, and Joy One; or with your direction or consent.

Service providers may include hosting, database, storage, authentication, email, messaging platform, AI, OCR, speech-to-text, analytics, logging, security, and support providers. They are expected to process data under confidentiality and security obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, lawful government request, dispute process, security investigation, or to prevent harm, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.

If Joy One is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset transfer, Jomo data may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. International processing

Jomo and its providers may process and store information in Vietnam or other countries where infrastructure, platform, AI, or support providers operate. Data protection laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.

When information is transferred or processed across borders, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the providers involved.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain account data, financial records, conversations, assistant logs, and connected platform data for as long as needed to provide Jomo, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the Service, and maintain backups.

You may request deletion of your account or personal data through available support channels. Some data may remain for a limited period in backups, audit logs, security records, legal records, or where retention is required or permitted by law.

Disconnecting a bot stops new messages from that platform from being routed to Jomo, but it may not automatically delete past transactions, conversation records, assistant logs, or data retained by the third-party platform.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure credential handling, logging, and operational security practices.

No method of transmission, storage, or automated processing is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your devices, passwords, email account, and connected platform accounts.

10. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or information about the processing of your personal data.

You can correct many transaction records directly in Jomo, disconnect linked platforms from the Account screen where available, and stop sending messages to connected bots at any time.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to privacy requests, and some requests may be limited by law, security, fraud prevention, technical constraints, or the rights of others.

11. Children and age limits

Jomo is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that data.

12. Third-party platform policies

When you use Jomo through Telegram, Zalo, Messenger, or another third-party service, that service may independently collect, use, retain, and share information under its own terms and privacy policy. Jomo does not control those third-party practices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page or communicated through reasonable in-app or service channels. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

14. Contact

If you have questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, contact Jomo support through the in-app chat or the connected Jomo system bot.
